Biography
Karen L. Marbot has practiced exclusively in Trusts & Estates and Elder Law for over two decades. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and is also a member of Trusts & Estate section and the Elder Law section of this association. Karen is a member of the Rensselaer County Bar Association, a Past-President, and former member of their Executive Committee. She is a member and former board member of the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York. She is a former member of the American Bar Association, the Albany County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Karen worked for six years in the corporate trust area, and she has given numerous talks about wills, trusts, and estate planning. She teaches trusts & estates, business management, and finance at Hudson Valley Community College and has taught estate planning and other business courses at Siena College and The Sage Colleges. She has her law degree from Albany Law School and received her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Business Administration from Russell Sage College. | |||
